The Middle of the Week

The Antichrist or man of sin will become a popular politician or perhaps a military or tech leader (2Thess 2:3). Apparently, he is wounded to the point of it being fatal. He seems to be raised from death in the middle of his prophetic week of 7 years (at the 42 month point). Satan is trying to imitate the life of the Christ, hence the name antichrist. Things are very different for the next 42 months (literal) (Rev 13:3-5). After this happens, he becomes a demonized madman. [A demonized person does not necessarily have crazy hair and wild eyes. They can be intelligent and extremely high functioning.] Everything accelerates from this point on. It is revealed what his agenda has been all along. He, along with the evil power influencing him, desires and achieves world domination.

After Jesus had worked eternal redemption at the cross, he died. This coincided with the Jewish feast of Passover (Nissan 14). He was buried, being stone cold dead. He arose from the grave 72 hours later, just as he said. His resurrection coincided with the Feast of Unleavened Bread, at the middle of the 7 day feast, which specifically coincided with the Day of the Sheaf of Firstfruits.

This middle of the week thing may catch on. It seems to be a popular time for resurrection from the dead. Many people feel that the important things that God has planned around the activities of His Son center around the Feast Days of the Lord. Many have looked to the fall feasts for significant events to coincide with. Feast of Trumpets seems like a good one.

Could it be that the Feast of Unleavened Bread in the spring of the year (April) fits better with resurrection? Could there be a resurrection of the dead believers at that time? Jesus, being the Captain of Heaven's Armies, does not let his battle plans and military strategy lay around to be seen by the enemy. He makes it ambiguous on purpose. Yet, he desires the faithful believer to search into these things, not to necessarily “be right” about hidden things. Maranatha! The Lord comes! Be one who loves the Appearing of the Lord.
