A Message to Ethnic Israel
At some point in the near future, everyone, who has the Holy Spirit dwelling in them, is going to be gone from the world scene. This will probably be the worst world wide problem in the history of the human race. Jew and Gentile, by the millions, will be gone from the earth. There will be an official narrative but nothing conclusive will be coming from the world leaders.
From the midst of this global chaos, a political and military leader will distinguish himself by supplying a solution to the Israeli/Arab conflict. This will be too good to be true. Finally, someone emerges who fits the expectations of generations of Israeli people.
With supporting evidence, this leader will seem to be just what Israel has been expecting for centuries; even for millennia. At last, a leader that can successfully stand up for Israeli interests on the world scene AND be effective in bringing Jewish concerns to be acted upon.
An ancient Rabbi said that if someone comes in the Name of God, he will be refused by the leadership of the Jewish nation. But is someone comes in his own name and authority, he will be cheerfully accepted as the long awaited Messiah.
For a time, this world leader will have abundant proof of his divine origin. But, something tragic is about to take place. After a short time, things will turn for the worse. Unexpectedly, it will become obvious that this is NOT the long awaited Messiah after all. In fact, he will show himself to the exact opposite of the Messiah. Probably no people group in human history has suffered like the dear Jewish people. The horrors of the Holocaust of 1941-1945 are beyond imagination. Yet this will be like a birthday party compared to what is coming. The prophet Jeremiah calls it the time of Jacob's Trouble. (Jer. 30:7)
Zechariah 13:8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.
Zechariah 13:9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.
Only a third part of the nation of Israel will be spared. It is when they call upon a Name, that real deliverance will come. The fake one who came in his own name will be shown for what he is and the Jewish people, as a whole, will call upon a Name that really has been approved by God.
When the true Messiah is revealed, it will be someone whom you already know.
Zechariah 12:10...they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
When Israel realizes who has come to rescue them from complete destruction, they will wail and scream in bitterness of heart as if grieving a dead child. It will be realized that their leadership, as a whole, has been operating in blindness for centuries.
The Deliverer will at once be recognized by distinguishing marks.
Zechariah 13:6 And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.
Someone will ask the Coming Salvation, Why does the Messiah have holes in His hands?
He will answer, What? These? These are the wounds I suffered in the work of bringing my friends to safety.
The ancient Rabbi Shaul said, “And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob”:
