What Is This All About?
What is this all about? My last several articles may have seemed dark and threatening. Let me explain.
To speak about the Coming of the Jesus for His people is the personal commission I received from the Lord in 1979. For more than 40 years I have been mostly ignorant of what that even means. How can a person dramatically receive a life's direction from the Lord and then not know what that means? It's not difficult to do, apparently. OK but what is this all about?
If the Lord says something, then that is the final word. All debate and discussion is over. I have to do what I understand Him to mean. But there is more.
My concern is that Christians will not be ready for the Appearing of the Lord. My concern is that Christians will be leading the pack, screaming and flailing, running blindly in a maddening, panicked circle. I am concerned that Christians will be as bewildered as everyone else, rushing ahead of the mob of unbelievers, racing to the first cave they can find. That is what it is all about.
May your rapture be silent and peaceful.
But if the beginning of The Day of The Lord is accompanied by anything unexpected, I do not want anyone to be in distress. The only way to be without fear on the Day of the Lord is to know all about these things ahead of time. The secret to avoiding fear and confusion about the end times? Listen to Jesus in Mark's version of the Olivet Discourse:
But take heed; I have told you all things beforehand. (Mark 13:23 RSV)
